Trader Joe’s Recalls Granola Bars Because of Potential Salmonella

Not my beloved Trader Joe's… If you shop at Trader Joe's it's very likely that you have these chocolate chip granola bars in your cabinet. The company is warning consumers that their "Trader Joe's Chocolate Chip Chewy Coated Granola Bars" with use by dates of 16JUL10H2 and 17JUL10HI may be affected with salmonella.

The company, in a writtern statement said "As a precaution all of the product has been removed from sale and has been destroyed. To date, we have received no reports of illness related to these Chocolate Chip Chewy Coated Granola Bars."

Thank goodness they are being proactive and recalling these bars before someone gets sick. Go check your pantry…
