How to Make Birthday Party Punch

Punch is a colorful and refreshing beverage that can liven up any party. This all-ages drink is a popular party choice, because it is inexpensive and easy to prepare.

There are a number of tempting punch recipes from which you can select when planning your party beverage menu. Consider your guests’ likes as well as how you would prefer to serve your punch when picking the appropriate punch recipe for your birthday party.

Sparkling Sherbet Punch

Pick a punch bowl. Select a bowl that is large and deep to ensure that your punch doesn’t become a major mess. Pour chilled lemon lime soda into the bowl. Use enough soda to fill your bowl three-fourths of the way to the top.

Scoop sherbet into the bowl. Use a standard ice-cream scoop to create large balls of sherbet that will melt slowly and keep your punch refreshingly cool.

Provide a ladle for serving out the punch. By placing a ladle in the bowl for guests’ use instead of portioning out your birthday punch, you allow guests to take as little or as much drink as they desire. Also, keeping your concoction together until right before serving keeps the mixture cooler.

Fruit-astic Punch

Gather an assortment of pitchers. Use clear and colored glass or plastic pitchers that are translucent so guests can see the attractive fruit floating in your drink. Chop fruits. Pick seasonal fruits to save money. In the winter, consider Clementine oranges and apples. In the summer, opt for more tropical choices, such as pineapple and kiwi.

Fill pitchers one-fourth of the way with ice. Use large cubes of ice to ensure that your ice doesn’t melt quickly. To jazz up your punch, purchase shaped ice-trays. Placing these festive cubes in your punch gives the drink a little extra excitement.

Pour purchased red punch evenly into pitchers. Buy an economical and simple punch. Your fruit will add excitement, so there is not reason to spend big bucks on the drink.

Dump mixed fruits into pitchers. Place approximately 1 cup of mixed fruit into each pitcher. The fruit will float delicately at the top of the drink. Place pitchers on party tables. By placing the drink on the party tables, you allow guests to access the sweet beverage easily and add aesthetic beauty to your party table.
