Remote Controlled Toy Tanks Recalled

Family Dollar stores and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission have recalled about 67,000 remote controlled toy tanks. 

The tank’s controller can overheat and melt, posing a burn hazard. The Family Dollar store has received five reports of the controllers overheating and melting. 

The Authentic Heroes Target Practice Tank play set is a green toy tank attached by a cable to a grey battery-powered controller. 

It was sold for approximately $5 from September 2010 to December 2010. If you own the Practice Tank, return it to a Family Dollar store for a refund.
