A hospital patient told the paper that staffers were excitedly exclaiming, “J.Lo is here!” The room has reportedly been been sitting empty for two weeks in preparation for the pop star’s twins. Mom Kirstie Alley, 57, has parted ways with Jenny Craig, for whom she served as a spokeswoman and shed some 70-plus pounds. She has started her own weight loss company and tells People magazine that she hopes to launch in 2009. Her inspiration for branching off has nothing to do with any hard feelings towards Jenny. “I want to create something new that will help millions of people end the seemingly never ending fatty-rollercoaster ride,” she said.
