Get ready, brides-to-be! Your dream may have just come true. Well, at least as far as the dress is concerned.
ModernMom Vera Wang is designing affordable wedding gowns. Yes, you heard correctly. The infamous designer who has created gowns for Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Simpson, Sharon Stone, Uma Thurman, Ivanka Trump and yes, Carrie Bradshaw, could design your next gown.
According to InStyle, the designer is partnering with David’s Bridal to create a line of gorgeous and affordable wedding gowns. Instead of the upwards of $15,000 that a custom Vera Wang gown costs, these gowns will be under $1,500!
Vera Wang told WWD, “At David’s I think I will be able to bring a taste level. I’ve been doing this for 20 years in September…what is the point if I can’t share all this work [via] a brand that is reliable and credible to people.”
Vera has been married to Arthur Becker since 1989. The couple have two daughters: Cecilia and Josephine. I wonder who will design their wedding gowns? Lucky girls!
