Live Better Vitamins Recalled

The International Vitamin Corporation in efforts with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recalled 12,000 units of Live Better Vitamins Thursday, because they failed to reach the child-resistant packaging standards.

These two iron supplements, Live Better One Daily Tablets and Live Better Complex Vitamin B50 Tablets, can cause serious injury or death to young children if ingested multiple tablets. These tablets sold at A&P Liquor, Pathmark, Waldbaum’s, The Food Emporium, Super Fresh and Food Basic grocery stores in CT, NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD, MA, VA, and DC between June 2009 and October 2010 for around $8.

Consumers should keep the Live Better vitamins away from children and call the International Vitamin Corporation at (866) 927-5470 or www.ivcinc.com to order a free child resistant cap.
