Circo Children’s Task Lamps Recalled by Target

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced Wednesday that Target has recalled roughly 13,000 Circo Children’s Task Lamps. The lamps run the risk of over-heating, which can cause the adhesive in the lamp socket to melt into the bulb socket. This makes the bulb difficult to remove without breaking, posing a laceration hazard. The lamps were sold at Target stores nationwide between January 2011 and April 2011, retailing for around $13.

Consumers should immediately stop using these lamps and contact Target Guest Relations for a full refund at (800) 440-0680 or www.target.com. Visit the USCPSC website for more information on the recalled lamps.
