Mike Tyson On The Tragic Loss Of His Daughter

Mike Tyson experienced the unthinkable, the loss of a child. His four-year old daughter, Exodus, died in May after accidently strangling herself on a treadmill cord.

The boxer spoke publicly for the first time since the tragedy. He told Entertainment Tonight that he is a “member of an exclusive club no one wants to join.” He admits that he is “…going through a process trying to heal. I have been told the pain never stops, but you get over it…I am in denial, because I don’t know how to handle it.”

Tyson said that after the accident hs was depressed and stayed in his house. It was “a dark moment in my life.” His new acting role in the new FOX show Brothers helped him start to keep “… functioning as a healthy human being.”

There cannot possibly anything worse than losing a child.
