The Aussie sat down with The Boot magazine to answer a few questions about his music and his life. When asked if he has written a song about his daughter Sunday, he responded, “I don’t know. Sunday hasn’t appeared in a literal way in a song just yet. But certainly becoming a father deepens everything in my life, and that’s apparent in the songs.”
What is little Sunday like? Keith says that his daughter is “a great mix of the two of us. But Nic and I are very similar in a lot of ways anyway. She has this incredible determination and focus. That was inevitable that [Sunday would] get that!” Sunday definitely can’t go wrong taking after either gorgeous and talented parent.
Keith also kidded about Sunday’s Australian, Southern mix. “I always joke that when she starts talking she’s going to say, ‘G’day, y’all!’ But she’s a southern girl.”
Sunday Rose sounds like a wonderful girl. And what a great daddy she has! I bet she gets an amazing goodnight lullaby…
