Demi Moore: The Term “Cougar” is “So Distasteful”

That’s right. Demi Moore “hates” the expression, “cougar,” but feel free to call her a puma. “[Puma] has a sweeter quality, more elegant,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. The term of course, refers to the large age gap between her and her much younger husband, Ashton Kutcher.  When they married, Demi was 42-years-old and Ashton was just 27-years-old.

But, age is just a number, right? When you know you know. Demi says of Ashton, “I knew it had the potential to be something special right away. It was like meeting somebody that I’ve just known where you just recognize one another. It was so disproportionate, the level of emotion we were experiencing to the time we had spent together.”

The couple seem to be doing well. They are still going strong seven years after they first began dating. The couple have been married for five years.

They keep the world updated on their lives via Twitter (which they have taken by storm!). Kutcher has 4.5 million followers and she has 2.5 million. WOW.

Demi looks amazing on Bazaar’s April cover. You go, girl (or puma)!
