Daily Baby: Kate Takes A Break From Sexy Roles, Madonna Will Sing for Millions, Robin Williams Split

The World Entertainment News Network reports that Kate Beckinsale said she won’t be taking any more sexy roles for a while. The 34-year-old mom and movie star said, “The sex-bomb thing is totally fun but you want to take the red shoes off sometimes…I don’t regret any of my movies but I do have a certain embarrassment about one or two of them.” Now Kate says, she wants to get back to her dramatic roots—she began her acting career in the 1993 Shakespearian comedy “Much Ado About Nothing.”

Madonna had said years ago that she didn’t think she would ever sing her old hits again. This remains true –unless the price is right. “I’m not sure I can sing ‘Holiday’ or ‘Like A Virgin’ ever again,” the singer told New York’s Z100-FM on Friday. “I just can’t – unless somebody paid me like $30 million or something. [Like if] some Russian guy wants me to come to the wedding he’s going to have to a 17-year-old.”

Robin Williams and his wife Marsha are divorcing. The couple, who have two children, Zelda, 19, and Cody, 17, were married for 19 years. Robin reportedly had an affair with Marsha, who was working as a nanny for him and first wife Valerie, with whom he has a son, Zachary, 25. He and Marsha married soon after his first divorce.
