Warm Banana Spice Bread

Hi Friends!  Here is a recipe I recently created in my new kitchen.   For me baking has a special ability to make a new home really feel like home.  Have a beautiful day!

Warm Banana Spice Bread

On cool weekend mornings it is delightful to start the day off with a home-baked creation.  Warm Banana Spice Bread is a wonderful way to use up the last of the week’s over-ripe bananas.  Leftovers make fantastic snacks for the family to enjoy.  To give the Banana Spice bread a special weekend presentation try baking it in a beautiful Bundt pan.

Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1 teaspoon apple pie spice blend
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ cup vegetable oil

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.  In a bowl combine flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.  Lightly whisk to sift ingredients.  Mash bananas, set aside.  In a large mixing bowl cream together eggs and sugar.   Stir in mashed bananas, apple pie spice blend, vanilla, and vegetable oil.  Slowly add flour mixture stirring until combined.  Pour batter evenly into a Bundt pan.  Bake for about 1 hour.  Let cool 10 minutes, remove from Bundt pan and serve.
