Camila Alves and Matthew McConaughey‘s daughter is already 4 weeks old. The couple welcomed their second child, Vida, on Sunday, January 3.
Alves loves having a female in the family. She told PEOPLE, “I’m very excited to have a girl,. I’m happy and it’s a big blessing. Vida’s definitely a beautiful and peaceful girl. We are so lucky!”
Alves is the host of Bravo’s Shear Genius, a hairstyling competition. She is very excited to pass on her knowledge to her daughter. “I’m going to have so much fun with her hair. I’ve been dealing with my own hair forever so I have a lot to share with her. It’s going to be long talks.”
Speaking of hair… PEOPLE asked if Vida’s older bro, Levi, has received his first haircut. Alves answered, “we have not cut his hair yet. He’s too cute. He’s a little boy and I don’t want to touch it. It’s still pure and perfect! We’re going to have so much time to style it and cut it. At this stage in his life, I’m leaving it as pure as possible.”
Vida is a lucky girl! We’re sure she will have some lovely locks soon!
