Angelina Jolie Grabs Top Celebrity Title

Angelina Jolie knocked Oprah out of the first place spot on Forbes’ 2009 Celebrity 100 list. Oprah hit the list as #2 after two years in the top slot.

Forbes considers many factors in determining the top celeb, not just accumulated wealth. Jolie made $27 million in 2008, while Winfrey grossed $275 million!

On the list after Jolie and Oprah, were Madonna (grossed $110 million), Beyonce, and Tiger Woods. Woods dropped from No. 2 last year to No. 5 this year.

Two country stars made their debut on the list, Taylor Swift (No. 69) and Toby Keith (No. 59). Barack Obama (No. 49) became the first President to make it among these heavy hitters.
