Minnie Driver Reveals Due Date, Talks Pregnancy

Actress and singer Minnie Driver was in Hollywood this weekend, performing a set from her new album Seastories at Hotel Café in Hollywood. While there, she talked to Us Weekly about how her pregnancy was going and revealed, “My due date’s in August!”

As for being pregnant, she says that her cravings have been fairly under control. “I haven’t wanted to eat as much food as I think I want to eat!” she said. “I’m not as hungry as everyone told me I’d be.” But that’s not to say she hasn’t been affected by her growing baby. “I’ve lost my balance — my boobs and my stomach [are huge].” And, Minnie says, she is quite unexpectedly finding new things out each day. She says she recently learned that wearing stilettos can put a pregnant woman off balance: “you can’t wear high heels unless you [also find a way to] weight your bottom or something.”

However, Minnie isn’t letting pregnancy slow down her career. She said she still plans to tour with her album, hitting France, Germany, Norway, Switzerland and England. As for acting, she said, “I’m going to do a movie with Uma Thurman!” But the mom-to-be isn’t going to wear herself out. “I’m really hoping I’ve got the stamina, but … I know how to take care of myself,” she added.
