Congratulations to Jessica Alba and her husband, film producer Cash Warren, who welcomed their second child into the world on Saturday afternoon. The 30-year-old actress gave birth to a little girl named Haven Garner Warren. The baby joins big sister Honor Marie Warren, 3.
Alba announced the news on Facebook:
“Hi Everyone, Hope you’re enjoying the weekend. Cash and I are so excited to announce the birth of our daughter, Haven Garner Warren.”
The newest member of the Warren family is healthy and happy, weighing in at 7 lbs and 19 inches long. Alba also thanked her fans, writing, “thank you for all of your support during my pregnancy. It means the world to me.”
Just last week, Alba gave ModernMom an exclusive interview where she opened up on motherhood, her role in the new Spy Kids movie and the challenges of balancing work and family.
She said this pregnancy felt much quicker than her experience waiting for the arrival of her first child.
“My doctor said that since my body has done this before, now it’s doing everything in rapid motion. Where it slowly took nine and a half months for it to happen with the first, with the second it’s kind of like, oh yea I’ve done this already.”
