Actor Jeremy London has been charged with spousal abuse for allegedly beating up his estranged wife last month during an argument – and apparently he’s also homeless.
According to TMZ, London allegedly pulled Melissa Cunningham’s hair and hit her in the side of the head after she objected to him taking their 5-year-old son to breakfast.
Although a rep for the 39-year-old actor told PEOPLE in a statement that “the allegation for which this charge against Jeremy London is being filed is false and no such abuse occurred,” authorities in Palm Springs filed a request for an arrest warrant which was approved yesterday.
But his troubles don’t end there. Court documents for the case do not list an address, but simply describe him as “transient.” For those of you who do not live in cities where it is normal to find someone in a sleeping bag on the sidewalk outside your apartment – “transient” is often used as a synonym for “homeless.”
London is best known for his roles on “Party of Five” and “7th Heaven.” He made headlines in a bizarre incident in 2010, when he was kidnapped at gunpoint and forced to smoke meth.
