Reese Witherspoon Welcomes a Baby Boy!

It’s a boy for Reese Witherspoon, who gave birth to her third child on Thursday.

The 36-year-old actress welcomed a son with her husband, Jim Toth.

The baby’s name: Tennessee James Toth, perhaps a nod to the “Sweet Home Alabama” star’s southern roots. While she was born in New Orleans, Witherspoon spent her childhood in Nashville, Tennessee.

“Both mom and baby are healthy and the entire family is thrilled,” said her rep in a statement.

It’s the first child for the couple, who tied the knot back in March of 2011. Witherspoon also has two children – Ava, 13, and Deacon, 8 – from her previous marriage to Ryan Phillippe.

She met Toth, who is an entertainment agent “out of the blue” at a friend’s house.

“This really drunk guy was hitting on me, making such an idiot of himself, yelling at me,” she told Elle Magazine in February. “Jim came over and said, ‘Please excuse my friend. He’s just broken up with someone.'”

Witherspoon added, “Jim was a really good friend, pulling him out of that situation. That’s just kind of who he is, a really good person.”

Congratulations to the happy family!
