It’s official: Taylor Swift has another ex-boyfriend to write a song about.
The 23-year-old singer and One Direction’s Harry Styles have broken up following a winter holiday on the British Virgin Islands, sources confirmed to PEOPLE.
Following some time spent frolicking in the sun, the pair reportedly had a “blow-up fight” and Swift cut the vacation short, leaving by herself on January 4.
According to Fox News, “she looked glum and introspective as she caught a boat solo to the airport.” The next day, Swift tweeted a line from her own song, Trouble, writing “…’til you put me down.”
Styles, on the other hand, didn’t seem nearly as phased by the split. The 18-year-old was subsequently spotted partying in a hot tub with billionaire Richard Branson and others on Necker Island.

Reps for both stars have declined to comment but it looks like this relationship is over as quickly as it started.
