How did Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi shed more than 40 pounds in the six months following her pregnancy? The old-fashioned way: working really hard!
The Jersey Shore star opened up about her commitment to get back in shape on The Dr. Oz Show saying “I don’t consider myself to be, like, a ‘celebrity mom.’ I don’t even consider myself famous. I just think I’m well known. And I’m very relatable, I feel. And I’m just a normal girl doing normal things.”
The same is true for her weight loss.
“If I can lose 42 lbs. after giving birth six months [ago], I mean, anybody could do it. You just need the dedication, and you need to want to have your body back.”
Polizzi gave birth to her first child – a baby boy named Lorenzo – in August of last year. The 25 year old followed a weight loss plan that included healthy meals and daily workouts, and was back down to 109 lbs by January.
