The Hollywood baby boom keeps right on rolling, as the news broke today that Halle Berry is pregnant.
The actress and her fiancé Olivier Martinez are expecting their first child together, according to TMZ.
Apparently the couple already knows the gender… and sources say it’s a boy!
The baby will join big sister Nahla, 5, who is Berry’s daughter with ex Gabriel Aubry.
On the Wendy Williams show last fall, the actress admitted that Nahla wanted a little sister:
“Every night we pray to God, and she’s so sweet. She says, ‘God, please bring me a bunk bed and a baby sister.’ And I say, ‘I can do one of those things, I know for sure! The other one we have to keep praying on.’ What do you say to her when she wants that and can’t understand why God’s taking so long, you know?”
Berry, 46, and Martinez, 47, began dating in 2010 after working costarring in the thriller Dark Tide. They became engaged about 15 months ago.
TMZ reports that Berry thought she had gained a little weight right before the Oscars, and found out a few days later that she was pregnant.
