John Krasinski got some practice playing a dad as Jim Halpert on “The Office,” but now the actor is going to be a father in real life…
Krasinski, 33, and wife Emily Blunt, 30, are expecting their first child!
The couple, who tied the knot back in 2010, have been open about their desire to expand their family.
“We want to have children; I just don’t know when yet,” Blunt said in an interview with Manhattan magazine last year. “I’m just not sure about the timing of all of that. We’re both from big families, so I think it’s something we want.”
Around the same time, Krasinski spoke with Matt Lauer about getting a sneak peek at fatherhood while working with fellow actor Matt Damon on the film Promised Land.
“We actually wrote with children climbing all over him, and he was doing bath time and dinner and everything, and we still got it done,” Krasinski said.
Looks like soon he’ll be doing some diaper duty of his own!
