Oprah's boy (and let's be real…OUR boy) Nate Berkus has been hospitalized for appendicitis! He is expected to undergo surgery soon.
The ridiculously adorable talk show host was on the "Today" show Wednesday morning and reportedly wasn't feeling well, a rep for "The Nake Berkus Show" told People. But, "he powered through and then went straight to the hospital after that and they learned he had appendicitis." Yikes!
"He was in a lot of pain," added the rep. "I don't think people realized how ill he was."
For now he'll just have to sit back and recover, even though that means postponing some shows. "He would have taped two shows today," according to the rep. "It's anticipated that he will be back next week."
The rep confirms that Berkus, 39, is "resting and he's expected to have an appendectomy…Doctors expect a quick recovery."
