Mommy Found the Easter Bunny!
We took the family away this weekend for a quick local vacation. Its finally starting to feel like spring, which called for the perfect Easter holiday getaway. Spring break is always challenging for our family because of the different schools and schedules. We never seem to all be off at the same time. I love local vacations, no airports and no time wasted in travel. La Costa is one of my favorite southern California resorts and has one of my favorite rooms in the US. Im a huge Deepak Chopra fan and he has an incredible wellness center there.

I just partnered with Suave to do a campaign talking about the importance of “Me Time.” I have been preaching this concept for some time now, and Im happy to see its starting to catch on in the mommy space. It used to be that moms felt guilty when taking time out for themselves.
Spicy, Yummy, Exhausting Weekend
Happy Monday everyone! I had a SUPER busy weekend. Thankfully, my leg is getting better because I did not sit down for 5 minutes all weekend! Except for the trip to the nail salon with my 11 yr olds 5 girlfriends – which kicked off her birthday slumber party. Yes, Im in there too but with out the crackle nail polish!
Raising Girls in a Glamorous Industry
Im planning my 11-year-old daughters birthday party. Im happy to realize that she is less interested in the big, themed events as she gets older. Now she hits me up for small slumber parties, girly girl activities and expensive presents. She gets the NO card on the extravagant gifts, but I do let her help plan her B-Day celebration. This year its all about fun fashion.
