Here’s a new one for Hollywood, Bryce Dallas Howard, was actually encouraged to keep those extra pounds she gained after having her baby, Theodore Norman.
Bryce was offered the part of Kate, John Connor’s wife, in Terminator Salvation by director McG on the phone. She told PEOPLE “I was so excited, but then was just kind of waiting to tell him, ‘I’m not in great shape right now” but instead of the response she was expecting, McG said “Oh, that’s okay. [Kate’s] really pregnant. That’ll be even better.”
During the filming, her body began to slim down and Bryce said “Naturally just after a woman has a baby she starts to lose weight. McG was throwing cookies at me the whole time, ‘You’re still eight months pregnant [in the film]! Be careful! Continuity!”
The 28-year-old star is the daughter of Ron Howard.
