House Salad Challenge! How does your home measure up?

March 18, 2010 by Kristin_Anderson Leave a Comment

If you went into your refrigerator right now would you have the makings for a lovely salad? Do you have servings of fruits and veggies handy to snack on or prepare for a meal? Have you ever asked your kids to put together a salad or balanced meal then gauged where they are at on their own?

If you answered yes to all or some of these questions then you and your family have the access and awareness that you need to eat healthy-your challenge might be making sure you actually eat those fresh fruits and veggies before they go bad.

If you answered no to most of these questions then you have a great place to start to get yourself and your family on track to better eating.

Today, take a look in your fridge and take the House Salad Challenge. Then put your kids to the challenge and see where they come in.

Maybe the family goes to the grocery store together this weekend and picks out favorite fruits and veggies to make for each other?… just a thought ;o)
