Is Home Schooling Better Than Public School?

Can structured homeschooling set children up for academic success better than public schools?

 A study published in the Canadian Journal of Behavioural Science found that children, ages 5 to 10, who were given “structured” homeschooling instruction did better on standardized tests in reading, writing and math than their peers from public schools. Students who received structured homeschooling had a half-grade advantage in math and were more than two grade levels above their expected age level in reading.
