$50K For A Three-Year-Old’s Birthday Party!?
Lately, weve been on the birthday circuit. Today was a 2-year-olds Thomas-the-Train celebration, tomorrow is a 3-year-old pony riding extravaganza, and next weekend 6-year-old twins are celebrating with a gymnastics party. I love birthday parties. When Ava gets invited, it reassures me that she is popular and I can look forward to eating the piece of cake she decapitates by furiously licking away the frosting. Everyone wins. With all these parties on our calendar, I have to take a list with me to Target just to remind me of the presents I need to buy that month. Since many New Year’s crafts can double as holiday decorations or party favors, plan to make your crafts a few days before your New Year’s celebration.
My New Family Rules: Please Don’t End Up Dead Or In Jail!
Two distinctly different pieces of paper taped inside one of my kitchen closet doors recently caught my eye. It is amazing that I could see anything in that mess, actually. I long ago ceded that 10 by 6 foot cave to the coats-snow boots-dirty laundry maelstrom of life with three teenagers, four cats, and a 75 pound shaggy black dog. However, since the kids open these doors 20 times a day, the closet doors have …
Cheap, Easy-to-Make Halloween Costumes for Teens
Ghosts and witches have had their day. When it comes to Halloween costumes for teenagers, humor or true gore are the favorites, especially when kids can put the costumes together quickly and inexpensively. Teenagers often like to head out for parties or trick-or-treating in groups, so they might like dressing identically or as an ensemble for a big impact.
