Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell were married on Sunday in London. The couple exchanged vows during a ceremony at Old Marylebone Town Hall, in front of a small gathering of family and friends.
51-year-od Shevell wore a knee-length ivory dress designed by her new stepdaughter, Stella McCartney. Stella also made the grooms navy blue suit.
Paul McCartney’s daughter Beatrice, 7, was the flower girl for the ceremony.
Guests included fellow Beatle Ringo Starr and his wife Barbara Bach, George Harrison’s widow Olivia and Barbara Walters, a second cousin of the bride.
During the reception, 69-year-old McCartney performed a special song for his new wife. His brother Mike told PEOPLE, “There was a lovely song that our kid did, and they had a lovely dance together.”
The couple has been dating since 2007 and were engaged in May of this year. Shevell is the daughter of Myron “Mike” Shevell, who heads New England Motor Freight, a trucking company worth nearly half a billion dollars. Nancy serves as the company’s vice president and is also a board member of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
