Looking for a fun way to get your kids to eat more fruit?
Brooke Burke and her daughter Rain share a great recipe that doubles as an artsy activity....
Fruit kebabs!
Ingredients
Directions
You can use wooden skewers, but since they aren't so appropriate for school lunches, Brooke suggests using thick spaghetti noodles to create her kebabs.
Let the kids layer on their favorite fruits in whatever order they like. Brooke's son Shaya likes banana on his, and Rain likes a variety of colorful fruits.
Shaya is holding out for marshmallows :)
Mix in a couple chunks of string cheese to incorporate a little protein into this fresh, healthy snack.
Ta da!
