Sugar Mommas’ Firehouse Banana Bundt Cake
Sugar Mommas’ Firehouse Banana Bundt Cake
Submitted by Judy Rollins
Don’t judge a book by its cover. The most unassuming little powdered sugar-coated bundt cake turned out to be a wonderfully moist surprise for Sugar Momma Jenna. This is one of the quickest, easiest cakes you’ll ever make. And Sugar Momma Kimberly’s family DEVOURED it when she tested it – even picky “Poppa Reiner” gave it the big thumbs up. You can read about how we found it in this week’s blog Firehouse Family but trust us on this one – you can’t go wrong with a firehouse recipe!
INGREDIENTS:
1 box yellow cake mix (not the butter recipe kind)
3 ripe bananas
¼ c. salad oil
¾ c. milk
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Spray bundt pan with Pam (or cooking spray of your choice).
>
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together and beat on medium speed for 3 minutes. Pour into prepared bundt pan.
>
Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Cool in the pan. Turn out onto a plate and sprinkle top with powdered sugar. Cut yourself a sliver (but then keep that knife handy for more).
