Did Priscilla Presley Get a Head Transplant?

Celebumom and grandma Priscilla Presley was the focus of a scathing Los Angeles Times feature about female stars and plastic surgery gone too far. In Sunday’s story, “What is television doing to its actresses?
And are we supposed to pretend we don’t notice?,” the Times TV critic Mary McNamara writes: “I know we’re all supposed to be watching this season of “Dancing With the Stars” to see whether professional athletics or Broadway provides a better foundation for dance. But I’m pretty sure most of us are far too preoccupied with figuring out whether Priscilla Presley has had the first successful head transplant and why there wasn’t a “Frontline” or at least an E! special about it. According to People magazine, she was treated by an unlicensed surgeon and is planning to undergo more surgery to correct it, which I cannot imagine is going to help.”

I took a look at recent photos of Priscilla and — whoa! and all I can wonder is what possessed this naturally beautiful woman to do this to herself? She is 58 years old and looks as though she’s done everything surgically possible to look 15, about the age at which she met Elvis in 1959! Wouldn’t it be glorious if our society embraced growing older, and the physical changes that came with developing wisdom, experiencing life, and raising grandchildren?

Would you have plastic surgery? Why do you think Priscilla did this to herself?
