Jessica Alba took her animal rights activism a little too far.
Alba was caught on camera sticking posters of the declining numbers of Great White Sharks on a bridge and other property in Oklahoma City, according to AP. Police are investigating.
“I got involved in something I should have had no part of. I realize that I should have used better judgment, and I regret not thinking things through before I made a spontaneous and ill-advised decision to let myself get involved with the people in this campaign,” Alba said in a statement, “I sincerely apologize to the citizens of Oklahoma City and to the United Way for my involvement in this incident.”
Even if convicted, Alba, mother of Honor, would not face jail time for her stunt. The damage from the vandalism is estimated between $500 and $700 and under Oklahoma law maliciously defacing property must exceed $1000 before punishments include prison time.
