Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigier first heard of Jon Gosselin when channel surfing one night he landed on TLC‘s “Jon & Kate Plus 8.” He said that was a much simpler time for the soon-to-be divorced dad. “He has a more
complicated life now. He has all of those kids and a girlfriend and
ex-wife,” said Audigier in an interview with People magazine.
The designer of the famously flamboyant tee shirts said that Jon called him asking for a job. Audigier soon made arrangements to fly Gosselin to Saint Tropez. “I met the guy for two days to see what he wanted to do as a job. In
the beginning it was Jon and Kate, and then the guy came with another
girl. He told me, ‘I’m going to come with my stylist. I need two
tickets for the plane.’ So I said, ‘no problem.’ ” The “stylist” in question was Jon’s now girlfriend Hailey Glassman, the 22 year old daughter of Kate’s plastic surgeon.
“He is not the same as he was,” Audigier
went on to say. While no business plans are finalized for the pair, he
did reveal that Jon is interested in doing something with motorcycles.
“He’s a biker,” said the designer.
