Bridget Moynahan: How Becoming A Mom Helped Her Acting Career
Actress Bridget Moynahan is the first to admit that the key to balancing parenting and a busy work schedule is “really good help.”
Bridget, 39, tells the Boston Herald that “you have to have the friends and family and support system to make it all work, to remind you of your priorities.”
Being a mom to 2 ½-year-old John Edward Thomas helped her prepare for her new movie role in the family-friendly flick Ramona and Beezus. “[It] helped me understand about being a mother onscreen,” Bridget admits. “Just the patience level you need to have, and multitasking. That’s a huge thing being a mom.”
On the topic of her new film, Bridget says she is now aware of all of the inappropriate movies out there, but that Ramona and Beezus is not one of those films. “I think this movie delivers on what it says it is. Families going to it are not going to be shocked, and it’s not material they’re going to be worried about.”
