How to Get Motivated

Where does motivation come from?

We are all in need of motivation from time to time.  Sometimes more than others.  Some days more than others.  Where can you find the motivation when you need it?

Whether you need motivation to eat healthy, make exercise a priority, sleep more, or get that closet cleaned out, the best place to find motivation is people.  People and relationships can make all the difference you need to work on the areas you want to improve in your life.

Surround yourself with people that motivate and inspire you.  Make the most of the easy flow of information the internet provides.  Mentors can help you to grow and improve yourself from being the best parent you can be to living the healthiest lifestyle that is right for you.

When you need motivation search for someone who you believe excels in the area your looking to improve.  There are A LOT of wonderful people out there with superb things to share.  I think you’ll find when you open yourself up there are many willing and able people to help guide you and give you the benefit of their experiences.

Listen to those that you admire, and see if you can find a way to make their suggestions or tips work for your unique, valuable life.  It is not about doing everything the same, but instead adapting the knowledge of others to benefit and motivate you.

And because 2 heads are better than 1, it’s even better when you can find a group of people with a large variety of strengths you can learn from all in one place, like right here on ModernMom.  Search the articles, experts, blogs and people, all with different and important things to offer.  They might be the answer to the motivation you are in need of.

What is something you need motivation for?
