Talk about losing the baby weight!
The familiar face–and bodies–of Adriana Lima and Karolína Kurková have returned to the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show after taking their maternity leaves.
Lima, who gave birth to daughter Valentina last November, commented that "coming back this year is quite exciting."
But it wasn't all hearts and sparkles for the new mom–even supermodels have to work hard to shed those extra pounds! "I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to lose the baby weight," Lima, 29, admits.
“To find time to go to the gym with sleepless nights is not easy–trust me. Every time Valentina would take a nap, I would go to the gym. So 50 pounds later, I’m here!”
Lima is not the only VS bombshell who's excited about getting back to work. Kurková gave birth to son Tobin Jack only 13 months ago, and is ecstatic about gliding down the catwalk again–this time with a new outlook.
“It’s kind of fun doing it from a new perspective–as a mother,” she says. “Not just as a young woman, but as a young woman who has a family, who has a son, who has a husband.”
Kurková, 26, self-admittedly turned into "this powerful mama who can deal with anything, do everything." She proudly added: "I take care of the house, I cook, I work, I walk the runway." Sporting her wings is all in a day's work!
"I said to my son this morning, 'Mommy’s gonna be an angel for a day and then she’s gonna be right back, okay?'" she laughed.
As jealous as we are of their rockin' post-baby bods, it's good to see these angels back on the runway!
