Sheryl Crow Diagnosed with Benign Brain Tumor

Sheryl Crow revealed the startling news that she has been diagnosed with a benign brain tumor.

The Grammy-winning singer/songwriter spilled the news during an interview with the Las Vegas Review-Journal on Friday at the Mandalay Bay hotel.

“I worried about my memory so much that I went and got an MRI. And I found out I have a brain tumor,” she said. “And I was, like, ‘See? I knew there was something wrong.’?”

Her rep confirmed that she has a benign meningioma – a common form of brain tumor.

It’s not the first health scare for the 50-year-old singer.  In 2006, she was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer, which was successfully treated that year.

Crow is the mother of two adopted boys, Wyatt Steven and Levi James.
