Josie Maran Argan Bronzing Oil
I was recently introduced to a product from Josie Maran Cosmetics called Argan Oil. After doing a bit of research on what Argan Oil was, I was very surprised to find that it is taken from the Argan tree which is unique to Morocco and is also a endangered species. Argan Oil is used in high end cosmetics, some gourmet foods and is also known for its numerous medicinal properties.
The Argan Oil from JMC is amazing, has many uses and comes in 4 different formulas. The original formula is a lightweight oil that is rich in Vitamin E and essential fatty acids. I like to use a few drops of this oil as a quick absorbing moisturizer before applying my primer and then foundation.
Argan Primer Mist is a Silicone free primer that moisturizes and visibly smooths fine lines. Lightly mist across entire face and neck before applying your makeup for a long lasting flawless finish.
Argan Oil Moisturizing Stick is perfect for spot treating dry areas, healing chapped lips and taming fly aways. Make sure you pack one of these for your next weekend trip to the Hampton’s or Malibu. This stick is great for calming sun burned skin and helps with the itching and stinging from insect bites.
My favorite formula of the Argan Oil is the Bronzing Oil. This gorgeous product has several uses. Add a drop or two of the bronzing oil to your foundation for a dewey finish. Massage the oil into your arms and chest for a golden shimmer. It can even be used by itself under your tinted moisturizer. I have been mixing a drop of this oil with a powder bronze eye shadow and then applying to the lids like a dewey cream shadow.
