Be competitive with your kids. This is my secret to parenting. That sounds terrible doesnt it? Trust me, it’s not as bad as it sounds. I am a silently competitive person. I like to win, but I dont like other people to know that Im trying to win. I like people to believe that its a happy accident if I win at something.

The Best and Worst Strollers

Due to a lack of research on my part and a changing family situation, I think weve spent enough money on strollers that we could have sponsored a whole village in Africa. In retrospect that would have been a much better use of our funds. Here is what I have learned, take it or leave it, but hopefully you can spend your dollars more wisely than we did. A Resolution to Resolve

I have never been big on New Years resolutions. In my mind, if I have something I think I should change about myself why wait until January 1 – no time like the present. With New Years resolutions there is too much build up, which becomes too much pressure and then subsequently too overwhelming and then I just throw in the towel. That is why I think it is always best to start something new on a random day, like starting your better eating habits on a Thursday.
