“As the mother of two small children, I know that this world is theirs, not mine. We try hard to be a green family by doing the following:
– Recycling all of our trash (we sort using 3 tubs), my kids get to keep all the money they make from all of our aluminum and glass.
– I drive a hybrid, but we bike wherever we can to reduce our carbon footprint.
– We air dry our laundry to keep from using our gas dryer whenever possible
– I walk my kids to school, not only to get exercise, but to avoid using my car for the short trip
– We shop local whenever possible
These are just a few ways we’re green – and you know what? It’s easy!”
