I’m in the mountains with a bunch of friends and LOTS of kids. My family alone is 7 this week as we are watching my niece Jade. I love having her and hopefully we will share an amazing holiday together.
I promised David that this would not be a working, “computer” weekend, but I wanted to give you a quick update. I’ll keep it short.
I was watching my family in the back of our truck on the way up here, feeling so blessed and fortunate. I am filled with love and gratitude this weekend. My kids are running like wild animals with lots of friends, and all of us adults are cooking, drinking, and sharing great stories. Good friends are hard to come by.
My mom will drive up in a few days to celebrate the 4th with us and enjoy the fireworks. What more could I ask for?
I can see the crew coming in from the boat now, gotta go. I’ll take lots of pics and keep you posted.
