Sneak Your Kids Spinach With These Yummy Green Popsicles

Do you struggle to get your kids to eat their veggies?  If so, you’re not alone.  That’s one of the biggest complaints we hear! 

But you can kiss that problem goodbye with a fresh and tasty frozen treat. Just make our Green Energy Popsicles for your kids (and for the kid in you that loves great tasting treats–for a guilt-free 42 calories!)  After all, what kid doesn’t enjoy a popsicle? 

Plus, these pops have a healthy dose of spinach, so your kids will actually eat their veggies! No icks, yucks or ewws! It’s about time! Hello lifesaver pops!

Green Energy Popsicle Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas
  • ½ pear, cored and peeled
  • ½ pineapple, cored and peeled
  • 1 ½ cup fresh spinach
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

 

Directions

Blend all ingredients together until smooth and pour into popsicle molds.

Freeze for at least four hours and they are ready to go!

(Makes 12 popsicles)

Nutrition Facts per popsicle: 42 calories, 0g fat, 1g fiber, 11g carbohydrates, 1g protein
