ModernMom’s Best of the Weird Baby Names

One of the first important decisions that new parents have to make is what to name their little bundle of joy. Celebrities have a long-standing tradition of choosing unique baby names- from Gwyneth Paltrow’s daughter Apple to Frank Zappa’s four children, named Moon Unit, Dweezil, Ahmet Emuukha Rodan and Diva Thin Muffin.

Today we were inspired by the news that New Zealand has cracked down on strange baby names, and so we put together a list of the “best weird” baby names, submitted by our Twitter followers and Facebook fans. Our congratulations to the creativity of these parents!
