Its half-past eight on a Friday in Paris. My four children are packed into our van on our final trip to the airport. They are singing their favorite Justin Beiber song, while I shoot a video. The hum of their voices is our farewell song to the 2 week adventure we are all sad to see end.

What Would You Do for Love?

Travel 35 hours, 3 planes, 4 meals, one movie, a 3 hr dirt road trip, sleep in a tent, shower outside in the cold, drink instant coffee for 3 days then turn around and make the same trip back home???!!!?? (BTW, your 2 and 3 yr old children would be joining you to be reunited with their father who has been gone for 5 weeks) My answer is HELL YES, what about you? If you are like any of my friends, you would have missed out on the South African chance of a lifetime.

Vegas, BABY!

Im lying in bed next to my sick daughter who finally passed out. I played nurse all day. I didnt realize how much skill it took to manage theviolent storm of sneezes she delivered every 5 minutes ALL day long! I miss the days when we could give our toddlers cold medicine. Boy has medicine changed; now for the first 4 years you have to tough it out. Understatement today!

Brad and Angie Say Oui! to Paris

Perez Hilton reports that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have arrived in France, where they are planning to welcome the birth of their next child. He notes that each of their kids has been born in a different country, “and the jet setting family is not about to end that trend now.” The family reportedly arrived early Monday, via private jet, at an airport in the city of Nice. They were accompanied by two nannies and three security guards.
