National Chocolate Ice Cream Day is Saturday, June 7. I’m pretty excited to have a real excuse to eat chocolate ice cream. We are making chocolate milk shakes at our house and mixing it up by letting the kids adding extras like cookies and candies. Milkshakes are such a fun summer dessert. Here is a basic chocolate milk shake recipe to get you in the spirit for National Chocolate Ice Cream Day.
Chocolate Cookie Crumble Shake
2 scoops chocolate ice cream
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
2 cup milk
4 chocolate sandwich cookies
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Top with whipped cream and extra cookies crumbs if desired.
