Super Cute & Super Easy Ways to Style Your Hair

Add a bit of cuteness to your everyday look by styling your hair in a fun and flirty way. You don’t have to spend a lot of time fussing with your hair in order to get a super cute look. Most cute hairstyles look appealing because they tell the world that you look good without even trying that much.

Pulled-Back Bun

Although a bun usually sends the signal that you’re prim and proper, a loosely tied, slightly sloppy bun lets the world know that you like to have fun. You can make a bun look more elegant, yet still carefree and cute, by leaving a center part and pulling your hair back. Twist your hair into a loose bun, and secure at the nape of your neck. If you want an even more relaxed, cute bun, brush your hair back over your scalp, leaving some tendrils hanging free. Gather your hair up into a bun, and let pieces of hair stick out.

Held in a Pretty Barrette

Let a sparkly or floral barrette do all the work for you. When you fasten your hair in a barrette, you don’t have to worry whether it’s frizzy or out of sorts, since people’s eyes will be drawn to the decorative clasp instead of the hair. Part your hair to either side, and brush the larger portion over your ear. If you have the time and inclination, tease your hair ever so slightly to give it texture and volume. Secure hair in the barrette to keep it out of your eyes.

Towel and Air Dry

Give your hair a tousled, just-out-of-bed look by gently but vigorously towel drying it after showering. Skip the blow dryer, and wrap your head in a towel. Rub the towel over your hair for a few minutes, and then let your hair air dry. As it is drying, gently run a brush through your hair, but don’t brush it so much that you end up with completely flat, straight hair. You can also use a styling cream and scrunch your hair between your fingers as it dries. If you have bangs, use a hair dryer to dry them, shaping with a round brush as they dry. You’ll get a nice bit of contrast between your well-styled bangs and the carefree look of the rest of your hair.
