Tortilla Pizza Bites
Want to serve your little ones a healthy after-school snack? Fitness expert (and mom) Autumn Calabrese shares a delicious recipe for tortilla pizza bites!
They’re so easy to make and way better for kids than junk food like chips or cookies.
Ingredients
- Tortillas
- Shredded cheese
- Toppings (see ideas below)
- Pasta or pizza sauce
- Cookie cutter
- Muffin tin
Directions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Use your cookie cutter to cut circles out of your tortillas. Place circles in the muffin tin.
Use a spoon to add a little sauce and cheese to each mini-pizza.
Put in the oven, bake for approximately 10 minutes. Tip: for an extra crunch, turn the oven up to 450 degrees for the last two or three minutes.
When cheese is golden brown, they are ready to go. Let cool and serve!
Topping suggestions
Pizza Love – Cut pepperoni into a heart shape, so cute!
Veggie Delight – Veg it up with olives, green peppers, mushrooms or spinach.
Fruit Fun – Add pieces of pineapple or mango for a tropical twist.
