Strawberry Banana Cream Poppers

If you’re in the mood for something sweet, but don’t want to break your diet – you’re not alone!

But don’t worry, this delicious treat will not only quench a sweet tooth craving with a small amount of calories… it’s also full of healthy antioxidants, nutrients and fiber and it will give you an energy boost to boot!

How can you resist these little strawberry stuffed poppers? They explode with flavor in your mouth!

The sweet strawberries and banana will rev up your energy with vitamin-rich, healthy carbs and the creamy protein-filled Greek yogurt and almonds will extend the energy lift from the fruit.

Not to mention, pop one of these cute things in your mouth and you’ll feel revived just from the fun of it!

FYI – From our own experience, we feel we should warn you.. .make several batches of these at once as the kids love ’em too!  Enjoy!

Strawberry Banana Cream Poppers

Ingredients

  • 8 strawberries
  • 2 oz. vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 small banana
  • 1 tablespoon sliced almonds

Directions

1. Mash the banana in a bowl with a fork. Mix in the yogurt.

2. Using a knife, carve out the middle of each strawberry.

3. Fill the center of each strawberry with the banana-yogurt mixture and top with sliced almonds.
