Exercising While Sick

So I am feelinga little under the weathertoday and I am scheduled to take a Pilates class at 10am. I am debating on wether or not I should go. The question is “How sick is to sick to workout?” I have a lot of clients who are very dedicated to their fitness program and who don’t like to let ANYTHING get in the way of that….not even being sick. I always tellthem you get more from resting and letting your body heel then you do pushing through a workout that you are just not up for. Having the Right Tools

I just finished an hour Pilates Plus class, which is the hardest and BEST workout Ive ever done. My schedule has been insane lately so I am forcing myself to carve out an hour for myself every few days to balance it all. I have also been eating really healthy, lots of colorful, fresh foods and fish. I am feeling great!

Whew!

What a busy weekend! David and I, along with some friends, flew to Vegas and back last night for a charity event to help raise money and awareness for the Sea Shepherd Organization. It was an ambitious trip for 8 hrs, but it felt good to be part of such an important cause. Rain attempted to have her first sleep-over at Davids moms house yesterday. By 9:00 it was a full-blown break down. I suppose you never know when theyre ready until you try. Poor baby. Since that, she has been stuck to me like glue!
